"FIRST FRUITS - DAY ONE" Logistics
Casting & Rehearsal: Cast should be the same as for the Last Supper if this production is being done in conjunction with a Last Supper Shalom. Casting can be done ahead of time, before we get there. If possible, the cast needs to work on their parts ahead of time. 3 or more men to play Peter, John & Phillip/Thomas, 3 or more women - one to play Mary Magdalene + others needed as support cast. 2 men or women to play Angels. First Fruits is labor intensive and needs at least a 4 hour rehearsal time prior to the event. We usually do this rehearsal the day before the event.
Sound Management: If possible, in addition to the cast members, we would like to have the person responsible for sound management to be available during at least part of the scheduled rehearsal. Dennis requires a lapel mic and we will also need a handheld mic. Our music and sound is on CD,
Costumes: We will provide costumes for the cast. If the cast is large, those who are "extras" should plan on providing their own costumes. All cast members need to bring leather sandals or if that isn't possible, barefoot is fine.
Props: The stage should be set to look like a tomb of some sort. A spice jar, bowl, pitcher, sheet, Greenery or someplace for Jesus and angels to hide behind.
Arrival Time: DCM & local Cast will arrive at least 1 hour before the service starts to work out last minute details.
Rooms & Water: Two rooms are needed for the men and women to change into costume. Also, please provide water.
Information Table: A table or space on a table for information about this ministry to be set out. It doesn't have to be a large space but we would like it if it could be in a visible location.
